Science and Engineering are essential skills for the growing minds. It builds a framework to enable reasoning, analytical and critical thinking during early stages of education. Science is more than a subject taught in the classroom; it is a search for answers to questions and solutions to problems. This is an opportunity for your child to explore a topic that is of interest to them. The Science Fair will be a fun and educational experience for your child.

What is Science Fair?

Science fair is an opportunity for students to apply the scientific method to conduct independent research. The results of each student's research is presented in a school wide science fair.

Science Fair is a fun event that encourages kids to wonder, discover, explore, experiment, learn, teach, share and present. They have questions and they will explore to find answers.

On Science Fair day at Williams, they share their wonders, process, discoveries and answers with their friends, Williams’s community, Leland robotics team and Dr. Blizzard!

Scientific Method Journal:

Please use this journal to help you with the scientific method. The scientific method is a process for experimentation that is used to explore observations and answer questions. Scientists use the scientific method to search for cause and effect relationships in nature. In other words, they design an experiment so that changes to one item cause something else to vary in a predictable way.

Project Display:

You need to prepare a project poster board to communicate your work to others. Use your creativity to display the information. Click here to see some samples.
