Raffle with 3 Exciting Prizes!

Join your classmates in this exciting fundraiser and sell at least 5 raffle tickets! Williams desperately needs another Mobile Computer Lab! Don’t let Technology hold our kids back. We bought one Mobile Computer Lab last year and we want to buy another one this year! This way the kids will get access to the computers more often. After we purchase this mobile lab we can start replacing the computers in the classrooms.
Objective of the raffle is to raise $35,000 (we need $45,000 to buy another mobile computer lab, we will take $10,000 from the Technology Budget). If all 700 students at Williams sell 5 raffle tickets at $10 each we will make $35,000. We have great prizes for raffle ticket sellers and buyers…all for a valuable and important cause…your school!
Here’s what we’re doing:
- In the envelope that goes home on Wed, Dec. 14th you will receive one book of 5 raffle tickets
- We are asking each student to try to sell at least 1 book of tickets (or more!)
- Raffle tickets are $10 each, making each book worth $50
Here’s how to sell the raffle tickets:
- Go to friends, family, neighbors, parents’ co-workers, or anyone you know
- Tell them about the 3 great prizes they can win while supporting your school's program
- Have them fill out the information on the small ticket stub, which stays in place
- Then you tear off and give them the long piece of the ticket with the raffle details
- Collect cash or checks (made payable to 'Williams Wins') for the sold raffle tickets
Here’s what happens next:
- When you sell your whole ticket book, bring your envelope with your child's name on it & Family ID, book stubs, and money to the Ticket Exchange Table (same as the gift card table) and we will give you a new envelope and raffle book to sell or you can turn it into the office in the Raffle bin.
- The Ticket Exchange Table will be available Mondays through Fridays 8:45-9:15am under the shade structure and Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 2:45-3:15pm by the office as part of the Gift Card Table.
- Friday, January 20th 3pm is the deadline to turn in your envelope with all book stubs, ticket money, and any unsold tickets to the Wins Raffle bin in the Office.
- The Fundraiser Drawing will be held Saturday, January 21st at the 2012 Williams Crab & Pasta Feed happening at the Scottish Rite Center! You do not need to be present to win.
- The Student Drawing and announcements will be held Monday, January 23rd during flag.

Friday, January 6 - Friday, January 20th - We will be on campus Monday through Friday before school and Monday, Wednesday, Friday after school to collect sold raffle tickets (ticket stubs)/money in the enveope provided and provide additional raffle books as part of the Gift Card Table.
Friday, January 20th @ 3pm – Deadline for turning in money, ticket stubs, and extra tickets to the Raffle bin in the office. This is the only way that we can determine how many tickets each student sold and calculate who gets their name in the drawing. If students don’t submit money by this time they will be unable to get their name in the student raffle drawing.
Saturday, January 21st - Drawing for the adult raffle at the Williams Crab & Pasta Feed at the Scottish Rite Center (you do not need to be present to win). Winners will be notified via phone and email.
Monday, January 23rd – Announce which students won iPod Shuffles and Drawing for the student raffle. A list of students that were awarded a homework pass will be in each teacher’s box this day (with passes). Teachers will give out the homework passes on Monday, Jan. 23rd.
Friday, January 27th – Ice Cream Party right after school 3-3:30pm in the cafeteria for those that sold 2 raffle books.
If you need an additional raffle book before the designated days please email me your child's teacher and child's name and I will put them in your teacher's box the next day.
